We offer a large selection of exclusive Shantung ties, also known as raw silk. A tie in Shantung silk is easy to spot by it`s characteristic, almost rough linen like, texture. We source the fabrics from Como and the ties are made by hand in the south of Italy. We prefer to make our Shantung ties ”untipped” with light interlining and handrolled ends but these last seasons we have added selftipped Shantung neckties with light interlining. Both of these constructions gives the tie a nice, less bulky feel and a great knot.
